GUNS N ROSES RELEASE NEW SINGLE “PERHAPS”

Originating from the bands legendary “Chinese Democracy” sessions, “Perhaps” has been dusted off and tarted up by Axl and original members Slash and Duff McKagan for release today.

A piano-laden rocknroll number, reminiscent of golden-era Elton John, “Perhaps” is undoubtedly the best thing the Gunners have worked on since their much-hyped reunion back in 2016. Axl appears in fine voice, having lost none of his trademark snarl as he laments “my heart bleeds for me.” A memorable chorus, with Rose wailing “you’re all alone now” precedes a serviceable guitar solo from Slash, propelling the track forward before stripping things back to its simple opening piano motif.

More exciting for hardcore fans will be the release of b-side “The General” – a song that has gained almost mythical status over the years but never heard until now. Coupled with “Perhaps”, the two songs are to be released on 7” vinyl available from the bands official website.
